How t o help the girls when coming up against a really aggressive team
Hi Naomi,
I find the best way to deal with this kind of team is to ignore the aggressive behaviour.
If my team play a nice clean game it often frustrates the aggressive team, causing them to make mistakes we can capitalise off! Also, if there is an impartial umpire your team`s good behaviour will only highlight fault in the other team.
I`ve attached a drill to do with getting free, hopefully if your players find space the other team won`t be able to be aggressive without it being obvious!
Best of luck,
Georgia
Good drill that keeps defenders on their toes and attackers on point

No more 50/50 toss-ups. When simultaneous infringements occur, possession now goes to the team that last had the ball. Here's what it means for your coaching.
Train your defenders to win clean turnovers, not just disrupt. The difference between good defenders and great ones is taking the ball, not just touching it.
