What is a lob pass in netball

ANSWERS
Lucy ChatwinPlayer, England

A lob pass is essentially a shoulder pass but with added height. This is an important pass as it is used to ensure that the defenders cannot intercept the ball when the ball is passed over a longer distance.

This pass will be most beneficial when feeding a holding goal shooter or anywhere on court where a player is holding their space to receive the ball over the top.

I hope this helps!
