I coach a college team (age 15/16) and I have one player that has an issue with stepping. What are some drills she could do at home to reduce her stepping?

Hi Rachel,
This is a great drill for your player to try at home and emphasise the the landing phase. It has a great saying for them to run through in their head to help prevent stepping in future performances.

DESCRIPTION
This is a very simple relay practice with the emphasise on the player running in catching the ball and landing on one foot and then the next. The players are required to say ICE with first foot touching the floor and Cream when the2nd foot hits the ground. then pass and follow the ball to the other side.
