Hi Sue,

To help your players jump higher, you can incorporate some specific drills into your warm-ups. Here are a few exercises that can enhance jumping ability:

  1. Elevated Pass (2 hands): This drill involves bending the knees and jumping upwards while pushing the ball towards the wall. It focuses on using knee bends to increase elevation.
  2. Single Handed Flick to Wall and Jump (Left): Players jump upwards and flick the ball to the wall, focusing on bending knees to increase elevation.
  3. Double Handed Flick to Wall Plus Jump: This drill helps improve elevation and rhythm by having players jump and flick the ball to the wall using both hands.

These drills can be found in the drill library, and they are great for building the leg strength and coordination needed for higher jumps. You can check them out here: 1 Elevated Pass (2 hands), 2 Single Handed Flick to Wall and Jump (Left), and 3 Double Handed Flick to Wall Plus Jump.

Best of luck with your training!
