I have just started coaching some age 9-11 girls for the Hifive netball game. has anyone got any recommendations for drills or ideas that might aid me. especially any particular game play ideas.thank you

Hi Louise,
I would personally keep it simple and focus on the basics.
I have added an idea above but would also suggest that when coaching beginners you want to use drills that involve the whole group/team and if possible make it game based and of course fun!!

DESCRIPTION
Coach starts with the ball between 2 lines, all facing the same way. Coach delivers an "anywhere" ball in the open area in front. First players at the front of the 2 lines run out as a pair and compete for the ball. Unsuccessful player cuts back and drives in for the next pass before returning to the coach.
