Choosing Sides - 5 players

DESCRIPTION
On receiving the ball from the feeder player 1 turns. Players 2 and 3 should both make strong sideways movements in opposite directions, the defender can go either way. Player 1 must try and pass to the unmarked player as quickly as possible.

Hi Kara,

The goal of this drill to improve your players decision making to make the correct pass. The receiving player must quickly pivot and pick out the unmarked player using quick scanning and decision making.

The two attackers will start together and move apart, with the defender following and marking one of the attackers, leaving the other free open and available to receive the pass.
