Footwork Year 11's
what are some enaging games for developing footwork within my year 11 netball team. Prefer some exciting modified games over drill please, as basic drills tend to lead to disengament. thank you in advanced

Hi Beth,
Good footwork is such a key part of netball that any drill you decide to do will involve aspects that will help to develop footwork. Take a look at the drill I've attached, it involves an element of competition to keep your players engaged but also encourages them to work on movement and therefore their footwork as well. You can even include extra rules to ensure they are thinking about their landing and which foot to move.

1 team starts with the ball and tries and make 10 consecutive passes. The other team can send 1 or 2 players across to try and win the ball for their side. If the other team wins possession back for their team the roles reverse in other area (10 passes scores a point.)
