When using a star drill how many players are required and what does the drill help to achieve?
Hi Moonga,
You'll need at least 9 players to make this drill work, this ensures that there is always a player ready to receive and pass the ball at each point.
The star drill helps to improve the speed and accuracy of pass to the receiving player as well as the variety of passes they're able to use. It also encourages your players to move after they have passed the ball which is what they should be doing in a game situation.
Hope this helps.
