- Set cones out to create a 20x20 grid
- Set cones every 5 m down both side lines of the 20x20 grid
- Split players up into groups of 4
- One player from each group will be a defender, the other three will be attackers.
- The first player from each group holds a football and runs out towards their defender.
- when the touch is made the person with the ball performs a roll ball.
- the second person is the dummy half who passes the ball straight away to the third player.
- as soon as the touch is made the defender runs backwards to the next 5 m cone.
- the player who now has the ball runs up to the defender and when the touch has been made they perform a roll ball.
- this drill continues until the group has made it to the other side of the grid.
- Change defenders and then go again.
