It helps if you know the song!
Start with one catcher or Baby shark, they let everyone know this buy singinging BA-BY Shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo.
The catcher aims to collect tags, once they have more than 3 they are Daddy sharks (and can sing accordingly!)
Coach Starts the game by shouting Lets go Hunt , doo doo doo doo doo doo
Attackers/Fish try to swim(run) to other side of the sea and evade the sharks .. if they are tagged they become Baby sharks.
Whilst crossing the sea the fish can chant lets evade..doo doo etcetc
If they make it they can sing now I'm safe etc etc !
Last Fish swimming wins !
Progression:
Start with more sharks
Introduce a coloured bib as a Dolphin- Sharks can't catch Dolphins...this will encourage scanning attackers.
If using balls you are out and become a shark if you carry ball in one hand.
Evasion- change of direction, change of speed, footwork.
Catchers- get in close, good body position to tag.
If using a ball, two hands at all times.
This should be noisy, chaotic and Fun.. Parents can join in the singing!!
