Working in 3s with a ball.
1 attacker, 1 defender and 1 feeder.
Attacker and defender moving along a 2 metre line - feeder to stand with the ball 2 metres in front of the players.
Defender to stand in front with back to the attacker - ensure position of body is at 45 degree angle. Tell players this is how the defender should stay during this drill.
Attacker and defender to move long the line - feeder moves the ball up, down and from side to side.
Defender has to shout where the ball is using periheral vision.
Rotate so all players take a turn.
Progression:
Feeder now passes the ball to the attacker (attacker to work at 30% - defender to intercept. Work until 5 interceptions are made then rotate players.
