The two attacking players (WA, GA) are to progress up court and pass amongst themselves in the shooting third. The GK will mark the GS how ever will mark infront and move from each side ensuring that they stay on the side of where the ball is. When either the GA or WA thinks that the timing of the pass is right they can then throw the ball into the GS who will be holding their position. The GK will always make sure that they are in the position to intercept e.g. on the right side if the WA is to throw or on the left side if the GA is to throw. If the GK is on the wrong side then the GS is given a free chance to move and is less likely to have an intercepted pass. To ensure that the defender can reach each side it is important to keep stuck to the GS side on aware of the ball and quickly side stepping around the GS.
