The passing player (C) will stand with their back to the other three players. Then the whistle is blown and the GA and WA (attacking players) will run out to each area of space. The centre will pivot round and make the split decision throwing to the free player. The defender will mark one of the players preventing them from getting free and the attacking players will be into space to receive the ball.
The players are to use the free player whilst the defender is to commit tight to their player.
