This drill is to help players learn to slide into position when our ballhandler drives. The ballhandler will practice the kick out pass and the reverse pivot pass.
This drill should be split in half so the players practice it both to the right and the left.
The coaches will split up and apply pressure to the ballhandlers. Players will move in a circuit, going from one spot to the next.
HOW IT WORKS
Corner ballhandler will drive and kick to their teammate for a 3pt shot. They will Box In the coach, get the rebound, pass it to the ballhandler on the far side, and sprint to the first shooter position.
Meanwhile, the ballhandler on the far side will drive and reverse pivot to kick it to the shooter behind them for a 3pt shot. They will Box In the coach, get the rebound, pass to the ballhandler in the corner, and sprint to the back of the line.
