Handball: 9 meter

Players take it in turns to make a run to their cone, just outside the 9 meter line. Once they reach the cone players must feint moving inside before cutting outside to receive the pass just outside the 6 meter line from the feeder. After receiving the pass players must shoot at goal.

Positions :One libero stays between 6 and 9 meters to help in case of emergency.Rest of the players defend man-to-man.There is a man free, but he can hardly be found in the running mass of players.

Blue players line up behind three cones outside the 9 meter line. The defender stands between the 7 and the 9 meter line, ready to block the attacker's run. Attacking players take it in turns to dribble forwards and try and shuffle, feint and force their way past the defender. After they have completed their run players then move in a clockwise direction to the next group.

Set up 5 equal groups of players, one group on each sideline and 3 in the middle. Have several balls with both groups of sideline players. Also have two additional defenders (red players) stationed just inside the 9 meter line. Player 1 starts the drill with a pass to player 2. Player 2 runs out to meet the pass and then passes it on to player 3 who passes to player 4. Player 1 must chase the passes across the court to support the two red defenders as they press out to put pressure on the pass When player 4 receives the ball they should look for the shot on goal. The drill then starts from the other side - going from left to right.

The feeders on the baseline and the outside of the 9 meter line take it in turns to feed the ball to the attacking runner (Blue 2). When the ball is played the attacker run to meet the pass. As they do so the defender (red 1) also runs to meet them. The attacker is looking to make a shot on goal with the defender aiming to show them to the outside of the court, making it difficult to shoot and ultimately dispossess the player with the ball. The second defender (red 2) is the covering man, blocking the attacker's view of goal and is only there to cover the first defender, not make the tackle. After a shot or a tackle has been made the drill flips and restarts on the opposite side of the court with the other line.

Players line up on both sides of the court with one players standing in the middle of the 9 meter line. Players take it in turns to pass to the center player, quickly following their pass before receiving the return ball and immediately playing the pass out wide to the next player in line.

The blue players stand on the edge of the 9 meter line and take it in turns to pass at Red 1 who is in the pivot position. Upon receiving the pass red 1 turns and throws at the goal. Players have 4 shots each and then rotate.

Players line up near the baseline, with a ball each and take it in turns to pass the ball the player outside the 9 meter line. After making the pass players must run around the cone before turning quickly to run onto the return pass. After receiving the pass players should shoot as quickly as possible on goal using the center shot. After shooting players collect their ball and join the back of the line.

Pass 2-1-2 and throw at the goal after getting past defender blue 1. Same on the other side.Shoot with :- center shot- jump shot -

Two teams, two sides and two end zones.- A point is scored if a successful catch is performed in the end zone- A point is scored if the ball is put in the end zone

Center backcourt player comes in and crosses with pivot at about 9 metres from the goal.Pass A to pivot B who cannot throw at the goal and passes to C who then passes to D. D then throws at the goal after feinting his defender or passes to left wing E who throws at the goal.

Two groups of players at the goalline, dribbling around the cones and giving a shot at the goal. One defender at 7 meters who either blocks or tackles the attacker.Go and collect the ball and go to the other group.

You cannot be hit when you are <BR>lying on the floor on your belly.<BR><BR>Tag men may not wait more than 3 seconds, other players may not stay on the floor for more than 2 seconds.<BR>

Two lines on both sides of the court with one return pass player stood further up the court in the middle. Players run with the ball and play a one-two pass with the central player. As they receive the ball again they immediately shoot on goal. After shooting players run to the back of the opposite line to practice throwing from the other side.

Same as in <em>Back and Forth 1</em> player 1 starts the drill from the right wing and passes to player 2. Player 2 then passes to player 3 who passes to player 4. After they've passed the ball player 2 moves forward, in behind the defence to the right wing position. To finish the move player 4 passes the ball back to player 3 who then feeds the ball to the white player (pivot player) who then turns and shoots at goal.

The blue players must pass the ball between themselves with the intention of stretching the defenders as much as possible. When the center left two attacking players have the ball (blue 4 and 3) the first defender (red 1) covers the space.When the center right two players have the ball (blue 3 and 5) it is the second defender's (red 2) responsibility to cover the space. The defender who is not immediately defending should shuffle over to make sure that the defence is not leaving large gaps. The outlets are the left wing and right wings where the defenders can not go.

Pass B2-B1.<BR>B2 runs around Br, gets ball, duel with R1.

Teams pass and must complete a certain number of passes in order to score a point. Teams may use the neutral players at the side lines. variation : After every 3 passes players must pass to a neutral player, who passes back immediately.

Immediately after passing though player 1 must chase down their own pass, making sure they're in a position to block the shot when blue 4 is in possession. Players in the middle rejoin the back of their own lines after receiving the pass/shooting. Sideline players join the back of the line on the opposite side of the court after blocking the shot.

Player A takes a ball, dribbles and tries to score a goal. Then sprints to the next ball in the center and acts in the same way. The same happens on the left.Defender 1 defends the goalshots 1 and 3 defensively by only trying to block the goalshots and defends goalshot 2 actively.9 shots is one series.

Use this conditioned game on a half court with your team. The defending side will have 6 players plus a goalkeeper and the attackers 6 (no goalkeeper). Depending on how much time you have you can use each of the variations below for 5 minutes at a time before changing the conditions for goalscoring. Only the pivot (blue 6) may score. Only the wing players (blues 1 and 5) can score. Players may only score after completing 10 passes.

Setup as shown, with the player on the far right passing to the player in the middle. The player then crosses with the player on the left who takes a shot at goal. After catching the ball B2 feints as if to go to the right, but changes to the left to cross with B3. B3 first feinst to start to te left, but quickly sprints to the left to cross with B2, catch the ball and throw at the goal. Players swap positions after throwing.

In this move the winger start with the ball and passes the keeper who returns the pass to the center back. At this point the wing back and the winger both make a forward run. Once the wing back receives the pass from the center back the defender is then free to run forward to put pressure on the wing back. The wing back must read the situation and decide on the best way to progress the attack. They can either pass the ball to the winger who has made a looping run behind them or they can carry the ball forward themselves for the shot on goal. Drill continues until a shot/interception has been made.

3:3 defense system - juniors 3 defenders on the 6 mtr line and 3 on the 9 mtr line. Attackers have to move and run free - defenders try to intercept the ball.

Setup:Form two equally strong teams.Use a foam ball.Obstacles (depending on the available equipment, e.g., mats, small boxes, hoops, etc.).<br>Game Concept:Runners vs. Throwers. The game is played with a foam ball.One player from the runner team starts as the goalkeeper. The first runner throws the ball into the field and begins an obstacle course (4 to 5 stations). For each completed station, they earn 1 point. If the player completes the entire course (a &quot;home run&quot;), the runner team earns 8 points.The throwers try to score a goal as quickly as possible from the 7-meter line.<br><br>If a goal is scored, the runner must stop their round and take over the goalkeeper position.The previous goalkeeper joins the back of their team’s line and passes the ball to the next player.Now, the next runner throws the ball into the field, and a new thrower moves to the 7-meter line.<br>With each new runner, there is a new goalkeeper in goal and a new thrower at the 7-meter line.Throwers are not allowed to enter the goal area. If the thrower misses the goal, or if the goalkeeper catches/blocks the ball and gains control of it within the goal area, the goalkeeper can put the ball back into play while the runner continues their course.If the runner’s round is interrupted by a goal, the points scored up to that point are counted. The game is played for a set time. Each team plays once as the runner team and once as the thrower team against the other teams.<br>Tip:Always use a foam ball so that even children who are hesitant to play as goalkeeper can participate.

In this drill blue 2 is the feeder (devil's advocate). Their job is to pass the ball in between the defender and the attacker on both sides of the court. Whoever is first to the ball must pass the ball back to the feeder and return to their starting point.

The feeder in the center of the court plays the ball left and then right into the paths of the running attackers. The first wide defender goes to meet the ball straight away with the second, central, defender coming to cover and support the other defender after the attacker has crossed the 9m line. The drill ends when the ball is taken by the defender or after the attacker's shot on goal.

Blue players 1, 2 and 3 stand in a line with a supply of ball to try and feed to blue player 4. The defending player (Red 1) must stay in front of the receiving player and mirror their movement across the court, preventing as many balls as possible from reaching blue player 4. The receiving player must change pace and direction in order to lose their marker but they are not allowed to step in front of the defender.

Attackers dribble in the direction of the goal and start to perform a jump shot when they reach the 8 meter line and then throw at the goal. The defender should try and block the shot by positioning themselves between the attacker and the goal.
