Handball: Pass and run - Recycle the ball!

Use this session to get your players shooting at full speed and making snap decisions so that they can catch the opposition's defenders and keeper napping!

Two lines on both sides of the court with one return pass player stood further up the court in the middle.

Players run with the ball and play a one-two pass with the central player. As they receive the ball again they immediately shoot on goal.

After shooting players run to the back of the opposite line to practice throwing from the other side.

Simple fast break drill with two lines of players (one on each side) and a feeder/coach standing in the middle.

The player at the front of the line passes the ball to the feeder in the middle and then sprints towards the goal.

The feeder returns the ball, passing the ball in front of the runner, for them to run onto and shoot with a quick center shot!

The attackers should go all the way to the goal line. Low shots are more effective!!

The player on the left passes the ball to the coach/feeder in the midde. As soon as the pass has been made a player from the right should start running straight towards goal.

The feeder turns and passes the ball into the path of the running player from the right. This player then shoots on goal.

The drill repeats from the other side.

Pairs pass together, running around.
Make distances larger/smaller.
