Hi again Lois. After having searched the answers archive we found this Q&A which contains lots of practical suggestions for how to teach players the basics and rules of the game.
Q. Coaching absolute beginners
In addition to this you could play a mock game and coach as you play or organise a quiz based on the rules of the game, getting your players into teams where the highest scoring group wins a small prize.
