What is the best way to rotate 9 players in a team

I had a team of nine last year and they were all 8/9 yrs old. At this age they like to have maximum amount of game time. I decided to have 8 out of 9 players having a quarter off each. 1 player would have a full game and I kept track of who that player was and made sure it was someone different each week.

Yep - i just go in alphabetical order. Keeps the parents happy this way too
