what is the aspects defending which might assist you to interceptï¼
i'm doing it for my PDHPE assignment
i only got two so far
focus on the thrower and each defender marks one attacker
i need two more
plz help!
When defending dont stand straight onto the attacker...guide them to the sideline and your team mate can then intercept
the defender needs to make the ball their focus....not the space....knees bent...head up...eyes up
usaly an intercept comes from dieagonally.from offset/behind.players need to be able to (read the play).and anticepate the pass to intercept it.it can be shown to players at training through drills.(butt not all players will pick it up at the same time,)
Timing your run, and getting the angle of the run right. But most of all the ability to read the game.
in more ways than one
