Hi there,
It's great to hear about your passion for playing as a Goal Attack (GA) in netball! Here are some tips to help you excel in this position:
Timing and Positioning: As a GA, it's crucial to time your movements well and position yourself strategically to receive passes. Practice drills like the "Screen Set-Up" to improve your timing and movement.
Shooting Skills: Focus on improving your shooting accuracy and consistency. Practice shooting from different angles and distances to build confidence.
Footwork and Agility: Work on your footwork to be quick and agile on the court. Drills like "Sprints - Out and Back" can help improve your speed and agility.
Communication: Communicate effectively with your teammates, especially the Wing Attack (WA) and Centre (C), to create opportunities for scoring.
Game Awareness: Develop your game awareness to anticipate plays and make quick decisions. Engage in drills that simulate game scenarios to enhance your decision-making skills.
Keep practicing and believe in your abilities. Good luck, and keep striving towards your dream of playing GA!
I hope this helps,
Cam
