6 stretches
Hi Charley,
Here are six stretches that can be beneficial for netball players:
Hamstring Stretch: Sit on the ground with one leg extended and the other bent. Reach towards the toes of the extended leg, keeping your back straight.
Quadriceps Stretch: Stand on one leg, pull the other foot towards your buttocks, keeping your knees together.
Calf Stretch: Stand facing a wall, place one foot behind the other, and press the back heel into the ground.
Shoulder Stretch: Bring one arm across your body and use the opposite arm to pull it closer to your chest.
Triceps Stretch: Raise one arm overhead, bend the elbow, and use the opposite hand to gently push the elbow back.
Hip Flexor Stretch: Kneel on one knee, push your hips forward, and keep your back straight.
These stretches help improve flexibility and prevent injuries. Make sure to hold each stretch for about 20-30 seconds and repeat on both sides where applicable. If you need more detailed stretching routines, feel free to ask!
I hope this helps,
Cam
