Hi, I am after a senior netball shooting drill for training which includes 2-3 goalies to improve there shooting accuracy. Please involve running for punishment.

whether they are seniors (like me, im 41) or juniors, the training drills would be similar. to improve accuracy, you need balance, good technique, and practice. most of us oldies, dont like the latter part (me included). but if you have shooters who want to practice, go to the shooting section here and grab some drills, to improve their technique, and then do a lot of running out then in to shoot, and get them tired, and have them shoot. have them off balanced, and make them shoot, have them shoot under pressure, maybe 2 seconds rather than 3, but what they always must keep in mind, is get balanced, and stay focused, not be intimidated by their opponent, or crack under the pressure. you could also have someone passing a ball every 3 seconds to them so that they have to catch and shoot, and then have multiple positions in the circle set up that they have to get to every 3 seconds to run catch shoot. in most teams its a requirement that the shooters practice shooting 100 shots every day no matter what the conditions. have fun and good luck.
As Lee-anne has posted above, there are a huge amount of drills here on Sportsplan http%3A//www.sportplan.net/drills/Netball/Shooting/practiceIndex.jsp which should be suitable. Some I have used, have the shooters running out towards cones, running back, balancing and taking a shot which is similar to what they are doing in games. Good luck.

The Wing Attack is the critical link between midcourt possession and circle feeding. This masterclass breaks down the movement patterns, timing, and spatial awareness that separate elite WAs from the rest, with practical drills to develop these skills at every level.
Footwork is the foundation of every skill in netball. This guide provides a clear explanation of the stepping rule, the mechanics of one-foot and two-foot landings, pivoting technique, and progressive drills to build footwork confidence from junior level upward.
The early 'shoot from anywhere' era is over. Smart teams now use data-driven decision models to decide when the two-pointer is worth it.
