Hi there, I will have 5 players today as three are sick, what bibs do I give the girls?
I`d always drop your wings as you have to have a centre and then need GK, GD, GA and GS but they will all have to work a bit harder to support the Centre.
This is probably too late, but are you allowed borrowed players? If a club enters two or more teams our District allows borrowed/replacement players, but they have to be from a lower grade level. This can only happen twice for the same borrowed player. When a third game is played in a higher grade, she has to stay with the team in which she played her third game. Also a registered team member must play in preference to an upgraded player. I hope this helps.
yeah you don`t have a lot of choice but to drop your wings or to "borrow" players from lower grades (if your club has any). and all the girls can do is play their best and have fun with it. its funny though that when playing short, the team tends to lift their game and sometimes you dont tend to notice too much the loss of player/s...but they are wrecked by the end of it.
hope they went well.
