Often after half time my team has a bit of slump in the 3rd quarter what is something we can do in to keep the momentum going?
Hi Emma,
This slump could simply be down to the fitness levels of players. As the game goes by players naturally become fatigued and are unable to sustain the intensity throughout a game.
You can overcome this by finishing training sessions with a fitness drill to get players used to working under fatigue and build fitness levels. Similarly, regular roll on roll off replacements can help keep players fresher for longer and allow them to recover before returning to the court to keep the momentum going.
Hope this helps.
