on a centre, why would a GD try force the GA high and wide
Hi Mohammed,
A GD would want to force the GA high and wide on a centre pass to make it harder for the GA to get to their shooting circle. This would create a 1 v 1 situation in the circle between GK and GS and would make it harder for the attacking team to get free and score a goal.
Hope this helps!
