if theres a drink break during the quarters then no player is allowed off court so the manager and coach must be organised and have all players drink bottles ready to hand out. Having an esky or chilly bin ready for such an occasion is very helpful. If you are talking about a normal break then yes the teams are allowed off the court for whatever reason.
