defending and opening up to catch a ball
My daugter 8 year old were chosen for the A team but now recently shifted her to the B Team.Because she is struggling to defend and do not know when to open up come forward to catch a ball.How can i help her.
but please remember she is only 8 years old...she will learn so much in the next few years. I wouldn`t worry about any extra work at this point.
How can i help her at home to improve her defending skills and when and how to open up get infront of someone to catch the ball
talk to the coach. you could try and coach her, but you could be teaching her something totally opposite what her coach says and thus making it worse. talk to the coach and see what she can do as home work. she might not be quite ready for the A team. nothing wrong with the B team if that is where her current ability is. She sounds like a rising star.
