What is the best way to stop crowding in junior netball? Particular drills?
teach set plays so everyone learns where to be and what job they have. set plays are like on a centre pass, WA drives out and gets the pass, the GS drives up on the same side of the WA and takes the next pass and the GA drives into the circle ensure they time their drive to receive the pass from the GS as they get to the best shooting position. alternative is that the GD or WD take the pass with the next pass being to the GS ect...
or maybe C to GA on a centre pass, then the WA cuts across court to the same same side of the GA, the GS drives to the opposite side of the GA but inside of the circle then drives back towards their preferred shooting position.
there are 3 different options they have. they will learn that they all have a place to be and a part to play in these set plays.
thats a good starting point.
