what are some coaching tips for this warm up game
Hi Ruby,
This is a really fun and competitive game to get your players ready for a session or game. There are two key parts to this drill.
Firstly, the initial reaction to the call of 'rats' or 'rabbits'. Encourage your players to stay alert and ready on their toes to react to the shout.
The second phase focusses on speed and acceleration. Encourage players to take lots of short, quick, explosive steps to get off the mark and accelerate away from their partner. Or alternatively, catch them up!
Hope this helps.
