ive never heard of formal benchmarks, but i guess the national or state associates would know what they were looking for when they were selecting girls for their elite teams. try them.
I just had a quick look on our National Netball resources There are a few things which are looked at. Movement, ballwork, attack, defense, shooting, decision making, attitude and fitness. You also want to look at understanding of the game as well as throwing in some flair and innovation. In this document they rated each player 1 Excellent 2 Good 3 Needs development. Fitness although important as they need to keep the intensity of 100% throughout whole game is only one aspect that selectors and school team selectors are looking at
