As the GS moves to create space for the shot is the GK allowed to simply follow her around the circle?
the GK can do whatever she wants to be honest. she can stick to the GS like glue inside the goal third, or she can give them all the space she wants. provided she follows the basic rules about contact and obstuction, then its a free world.
there are 2 main concepts to do with defence. stck like glue, and give space then intercept. i prefer to combine those 2 and stick like glue inside the circle, but then give space if the GS goes out and watch play to see if i can intercept.
in more ways than one
