Suggested set plays for youngsters

I like the idea of teaching set plays to stop my girls swarming the ball, but wasn't sure what set plays to use! Are there any on this site or can anyone share their favourite easy ones for 8/9 yo's

The main set plays I use for all my teams are the basic ones that can be taught to almost any grade. C WA GS(who comes out into the goal third on the same side as the WA received the centre break) GA (who has run from the transverse straight into the circle timing her drive to meet the pass from the GS in front of the goal) C GA WA(who after the GA has received the centre pass has cut across court to take the next pass on the same side as the GA) GS (who initially drives to the opposite of the goal circle as where the passes are being take and then drives back to take a pass near the goal ring). The C drives to the opposite of the goal ring to be an option and the GA drives into the circle. C WD/GD GS(who comes out into the goal third on the same side as the WA received the centre break) GA (who has run from the transverse straight into the circle timing her drive to meet the pass from the GS in front of the goal) With all these 3 options for a centre pass that players are cutting across court to get passes and that once the pass has been released that they then drive into a space with no players on another section of the court. i.e. in one of the 3 channels (Left Right and Centre Channels) basic defence backline throw in behind the circle GK to WD (who is holding on the same side as the GK and the pass is to the side that the WA isn`t) The GD should be up near the transverse line on the opposite side and ready to be the second option if the WD is being double teamed with the GS. If the WD gets the pass then the GD is the next option and then the C (who has been waiting up near the centre circle) backline or deep sideline throw in. GK again to the WD who is blocking her player using the circle as a means to keep her in a position then breaks to take the pass. then GD who has again been on the opposite side of the court waiting to see if they are needed but ready for the next pass. remember to keep the passes off the sideline. These are my main 5 set plays that helps teach players that they all have a job and not to try and have everyone running to the ball. Also work on getting them to get away from their players using preliminary moves to get ball side. hope all this helps
