Are the rules for Sub-Juniors that same as those for Juniors or Netta? Haven't got our rule books as yet and have our first training session this week!
Any advise appreciated!
how old are you talking Kelly? like for 10yr olds, or like netsetgo? if its for 10-11yr olds (after netta) then its full netball rules as far as im aware. if you are talking netsetgo, they just play fun games, and when we put them on the court for some game time, we make the rules up to keep the game going. abbreviated netta i guess. our netsetgo kids, dont play competitve games, we just do skill based games, like tunnel ball, steal the eggs, catch and pivot races. anything fun. we kind of make up our own exercises for them.
hope that helps.
Thanks Lee-anne. It is for 10 yo /grade 5's.
Had thought there were still some rules re defending etc, but if it is all the same, then we should be fine.
Thanks again
KA
the only amendment to rules that i am aware of are for nettas....and yes there is a change of defence for 4ft and no defending the shot....but once out of nettas im pretty sure the rules are all the same.
