I have only 8 girls in my team and not everyone is in attendance each week. Any suggestions for drills and activities for these small numbers. (average of 6 - 7 each time)
bugger that your team can`t train together as a whole. does make learning certain skills and strategies tough. but you can still do circle work for both the shooters and defence, and can practise center breaks, and there are a number ball skill and footwork drills that are based around 2-3 players or not number dependent. if you have a team you can play against that will work reference getting game experience. otherwise drop the wings and play halfcourt with 6. will teach the GS to come out more to help out, which is a good thing anyway. Good luck.
