Does anyone have any tips or drills to help slow down the speed of a game? My 14b side are rushing their play and as a result silly mistakes are being made. I have looked on this site and tried google but cant find anything.
During a game of half court, you could make your team pass the ball on the whistle (you blowing the whistle). This will give them a feel for slowing the ball down in a realistic situation. Encouraging the bounce pass, a fake before passing or a square pass, will help change the pace of the ball.
