im not sure what you mean Lucinda. you mean like the GS zoning the GD into the circle? or the WA or center zoning the GD from entering the circle?
as a GS i tend to zone/hold my player high on the edge of the circle (unless she is really tall) and drive or take a log into the circle in a position that im much happier to shoot from. how does a defender get around this type of screen, is to keep moving trying to get the GS out of position. it also make the shooter take her focus of the ball and more on keeping the GK in her position.
