Does anyone use a leadership group instead of a captain and what age groups are best used for this?
I think it really depends on the age group. With younger kids they all want a turn to be captain (toss the coin really LOL) so I have a roster in alphabetical order where they know who is captain each week. My girls are U13's. I think once they move up to older age groups then a permanent captain and vice-captain could be appointed. Not sure about a leadership group, it would then be about 1/2 of the team which to me is too many.
