I struggle to find the right words to say to the girls during the breaks. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should be focusing on what to and say?
Lisa I used to coach a ladies hockey team and I initially had the same problem I got over this by watching other coaches. I take notes during the first half and pick 3 of the most important points from that list and this is my start get these points over and give a lot of encouragement about the first half always say positive things. Once you have done this ask the captain what her thoughts are and how things can improve. by this time it will be time to start again. Hope this is helpful Good luck malcolm
thanks, that's a great idea to take notes so I remember to focus on those things during the breaks.
