Hi Nicky,

 I have attached a video answer for you. The first half of the video explains the issue of overcrowding and how it can easily occur, with the second half of the video providing a drill to help overcome this. 

It is important your players increase their spatial awareness, so they can see where other players are before making their movement. Players often simply follow the ball, leading to overcrowding, therefore you need to focus on the importance of MAKING and CREATING space for others. This means that a player not necessarily receive the ball but they could've driven into a space which has drawn multiple defenders in, which has then created space for others. This role is just as important as the player who receives the ball.
