How to stop lobbing over the defender to a tall shooter?

Hi Anthony,

You can use a double team in the shooting circle so have one defender in front and another behind the shooter - this will mean that any pass into the shooter will have to be very accurate. Another option would be to really try to starve the shooter of receiving passes. This would mean the defenders in the defensive third pressurising the ball to make any pass into the shooter very difficult. Another defensive tactic, could be to force the tall shooter into a difficult shot - with the GK body position forcing the shooter away from the hoop so when they receive the ball, they will only be able to score if they make a difficult shot.
