How do I evenly play 10 players over 4 quarters
a couple of years ago i had 10 players to get on the court. this is what i did.
i split the gilrs up into shooters (3), defence(3) and attackers(4). i would rotate my shooters and defence around so that each week one girl would have 1/2 off and the other 2 a 1/4. the center positions all got a 1/4 off each week. not necessarily the exact fairest way, but it stopped the positions being so mixed up and gave the players more stability in play. we went from losing most of our games when i was putting the players all over the court trying to be fair, to being competitive in the GF when we kept to more fixed position. but it really depends on age and ability of your players.
hope it helps.
I let one girl sit off per week so I have 8 players - you can do the same with 10 - I had 10 last year. In that way, parents get to book weekends away etc. I have done a spreadsheet and colour in a block so I know who has played a full game and who has played 1/2 a game or a 3/4 game. Just get two / three girls to play 1/2 a game each week, in that way I think it's fair. just keep a record of who is off %3A-) Hope this helps

No more 50/50 toss-ups. When simultaneous infringements occur, possession now goes to the team that last had the ball. Here's what it means for your coaching.
Train your defenders to win clean turnovers, not just disrupt. The difference between good defenders and great ones is taking the ball, not just touching it.
