Hi Rachael,
Half-Court game is pretty standard. You need 8 players and you can get away with one set of bibs, but it works best with two different colours.
Team 1 is C, WA, GA, GS
Team 2 is C, WD, GD, GK (if only using one set of bibs then the defensive C goes without)
Play starts from a centre pass for Team 1. They are attempting to score a goal. Team 2 are attempting to stop them and "score" by getting the ball out from defence to level with the centre circle.
Restart can be either just another centre pass to Team 1, or you can alternate between Centre Pass for Team 1 and Goal Line Throw In for Team 2.
All other normal netball rules apply.
Hope this helps.

Hi Simon, Many thanks for your help! I`ll definately give it a go at our next training session. :)
in more ways than one
Split circle defence is the system the top three NSL teams have built their identity around in 2026. The Goal Keeper and Goal Defence divide the circle into zones, switch in synchrony, and make every passing option look risky. Here is how to coach it.
Most netball shooters know how to shoot. The difference at the top is who can shoot when it counts. A structured 10-minute pre-game mental routine is the most under-used performance tool in club netball - and it is the simplest to teach.
The best Goal Defences in the 2026 NSL season are intercepting more than ever. The reason is not raw athleticism. It is a deliberate shift from chasing the attacker to driving into the flight path of the ball. Here is how to coach it.
