How do you get your players to pass to the easy passing option rather than forcing the ball to the player marked by 2 defence. My players are only passing to their favourite team mates not the one in front.

play a conditioned game where every time they pass to a marked player then the ball gets turned over. Score on the number of turnovers and the winning team has the least turnovers and bring a bag of lollies to the winning team. You can use this method in a game saying that there will be lollies for those members who constantly pass to the best option. lollies may not be their currency so you will have to find something that will take their focus off their friends and their want to get X.
