I need easy and effective stepping drill because my team steps
Hi Rezza,
I often find issues with stepping comes from having a few issues balancing i.e. catching a moving ball and not being able to regain balance quick enough to prevent themselves from moving forward again.
Why not try marking out a small area with cones (or even a hula hoop) and having players attempt to receive the ball in the hoop. Depending on skills level you could rather:
- remove the ball for less able players, and just focus on landing and balancing
- increase the sprint speed into the hoop, as well as the passing speed for more able players
Let me know your thoughts on the above,
Tara
I`ll try tonight.
Thanks Tara
