Defending a shooters split landing

Does anyone have any advice on how to mark a shooter once they have done a split landing?

the only thing you can do once a shooter has landed in split stance, is to get your feet back to 3ft from the foot closest to the goal ready to defend the shot. there is no tricks to this one unfortunately.
