Hi Natalie,

Defence is a vital part of the game and your team as by having a solid defence you ultimately prevent the opposition from being to score points and get shots away!

There are a few key attributes to focus on when working on defence with your players. This includes reading the play and predicting where the ball is going to go to make an interception. Staying alert at all times for player movements, rebounds etc. Having fast feet to match the movement of the attacking players and finally being confidence to hassle the attacker to put them off their game and win the ball back.
