Channels and spacing
I need a comprehensive drill for coaching channels. It's only a couple of players that don't get it (the centre and the GS/GA) but it is causing real disruption in games and forcing unecessary mistakes.
have you taught some centre pass set plays? although not teaching channels as a concept, it teaches about where you should be going and why. Then you can stop play at different intervals, and ask those players to see how everyone is in a different channel and discuss why.

Yes, I have! I do set plays which they get in training but as soon as they start to play in competition, they forget all about it and cross into everyone else`s space.
