Baseline pass in GA

The GA take the baseline pass in. Can the GS run around the outside of the shooting post off court and on again to receive the pass?

Yes. To "secure a better playing position" is one of the valid reasons for leaving the court area and returning. As long as they can get their feet back on as they catch the ball it`s all good.

yes, but the defence is allowed to block them from re-entering when they leave the court for the above mentioned reason.

Yep, as Simon has said, just make sure the GS is grounded on the court before reception. Use one foot only to be certain, then place the other after reception.
