HELP! How do I stop my 6yr old girls from bunching on the court? They are like bees to the honey.
Try creating channels on the court and allocating certain people to stay in each channel as you play your match so they get used to the spacial awareness. This really helped my juniors!
I also had this problem. When my u/10 girls are playing a practice match and start to bunch, I stop the game and tell everyone ,except the player with the ball and her defender, to "go home" ( back to where their positions usually stand) then only one player may go for the next ball and so forth. it really helps with their communication as well! Hope it helps!
