DESCRIPTION

What? Balls (min 6, more for better flow), goal, GK (more fun). Why? Work on quick shooting, back space shooting, and quick transitions. How? Player in RED will go through the entire drill, other 5 players (BLUE) will feed the balls. Rotate clockwise after turn. Player in RED dribbles ball into circle and shoots Player next in line @25yd line feeds balls to RED player at top of the circle. Player to left of goal feeds a ball straight up into the circle, NOT at the player, player has to come to ball and finish with quick shot. Player to right of circle, hits/sweeps a ball into circle for tip or quick receive and shoot. Player Right of Goal feeds ball in straight up into circle, Player comes to ball and finishes. Player Left of Circle hits/sweeps ball in for tip or quick shot.

COACHING POINTS

- Focus on every shot equally - Finishing should be quick - move for the ball, ask for it where you want it (expect on 3 and 5) - Let players be creative, ugly shots are still shots! - HAVE FUN, cheer on good play, reward good efforts. Kepp score! Advancements: - Add in a "dummy" defender to put pressure on attacker - time limit - Only a specific type of shot or 50% forehand and 50% bakchand. BE CREATIVE
